Declaration of National Sovereign Fire Day (1 August) and National Lore Day (7 July)

The Republic of the United Sovereign Nations Confederation declares two annual national observances, adopted by the participating Sovereign Nations of the Republic, to form part of the official national commemorative calendar of the Republic — commencing in the year 2026. NATIONAL SOVEREIGN FIRE DAY — 1 AUGUST (annually, from 2026) The Republic records that the National Sovereign Fire is observed each year on 1 August as a day of unity, reflection and gathering among participating Nations and communities. The observance recognises the enduring connection of the Original Nations to Country, culture, law, language, ancestors and future generations. Participating Nations gather in accordance with their own Law, Lore, customs, traditions and cultural protocols, acknowledging that each Nation retains its own cultural authority. The National Sovereign Fire stands as a symbolic expression of unity among the participating Sovereign Nations while respecting the distinct identity, traditions and governance of every Nation. NATIONAL LORE DAY — 7 JULY (annually, from 2026) The Republic records the annual observance of National Lore Day on 7 July. National Lore Day recognises the importance of the Law and Lore of the Original Nations, including the continuation and transmission of cultural knowledge, responsibilities, customs, traditions, languages and obligations from one generation to the next. The day encourages education, cultural renewal, respect for Elders and Knowledge Holders, and the preservation of the living traditions of each participating Nation. DECREE AND ORDINATION The participating Sovereign Nations of the Republic hereby declare that the annual observance of: • 1 August as National Sovereign Fire Day; and • 7 July as National Lore Day, shall form part of the official national commemorative calendar of the Republic of the United Sovereign Nations Confederation, commencing in the year 2026 and continuing annually thereafter. These observances are recognised as national occasions for reflection, cultural continuity, unity and the ongoing responsibilities owed to Country, ancestors, present generations and those yet to come. This Gazette records the declaration as adopted by the participating Sovereign Nations of the Republic in accordance with their constitutional processes and governance arrangements.
